Consult by video
At your appointment time, enter the waiting room: the video starts in your browser. Your documents then arrive in your patient area.
What can you see an online doctor for?
Most general practice problems can be resolved by video: the doctor asks you questions, examines you on camera and prescribes if needed. If a physical examination is required, she will tell you — and she can come to your home in the Sharon.
A video consultation is suitable for :
- General-medicine consultation: fever, common infections, pain, digestive problems, skin issues…
- Renewal and re-evaluation of treatment
- Reading and explaining test results
- Medical advice, referral to a specialist or to an in-person consultation
A video consultation is not suitable for :
- Life-threatening emergencies — call 101 (Magen David Adom)
- Chest pain, severe breathing difficulty, trauma
- Anything needing a physical examination — a home visit is more suitable.
- Prescriptions for controlled substances
What you receive after the consultation
Everything is uploaded to your patient area as a PDF as soon as the consultation ends: the signed prescription, carrying a verification code your pharmacist can check, valid in any pharmacy in Israel; if needed, a consultation report for your family doctor or a referral letter for a specialist; and the itemised receipt for your insurer.
Medical documents are written in Hebrew or English, so that Israeli pharmacists and colleagues can read them without difficulty. You can find them again at any time by logging in with your phone number.
Who can book a consultation?
Anyone in Israel, from Metula to Eilat, with no health fund requirement: residents, new olim whose kupa (health fund) is not yet active, tourists and travellers passing through, families with children (a parent stays present).
Your phone number can be a foreign one — you choose the country code when you book — and the consultation takes place in French, Hebrew or English, as you prefer.
By appointment, in the slots open in the diary; or walk-in whenever the green “Available now” banner is showing — never at night, on Shabbat or on Jewish holidays.
Frequently asked questions
How much is a video consultation?
250 ₪ for the 20-minute video consultation. Payment is made online when booking: by card (a hold is placed and only charged after the consultation) or by Bit (charged immediately, refunded if you cancel).
Will my kupa or insurance reimburse me?
The consultation is private and paid online. You receive a detailed receipt, accepted by supplementary health insurance plans and by travel insurers — the amount reimbursed depends on your policy. No kupa membership is needed to see the doctor.
Do I need to install an app?
No. The consultation takes place in your browser (Safari, Chrome…), on your phone, tablet or computer, with camera and microphone.
Can I consult on behalf of my child?
Yes. Indicate this at the start of the booking (“Child — under 16”); a parent or legal guardian must be present during the consultation.
What happens if I cancel?
You can cancel from your patient area. The card hold is released (no charge) and any Bit payment is refunded in full.
How do I receive the prescription?
The prescription is drawn up, signed and placed in your patient area as a PDF immediately, during the consultation itself. It is secured with a verification code for the pharmacist. It is valid in any pharmacy in Israel.
Is my data protected?
Yes. Your medical file is stored encrypted, the video is encrypted and not recorded, and your data is never shared with third parties without your consent.
